Shucked started the way most good things do — over a plate of oysters.

We're oyster lovers who got tired of forgetting which ones we'd tried, where we'd had them, and what made that one perfect Kumamoto on the Chesapeake so unforgettable. We wanted a place to track every shell, remember every flavor, and find out where to try something new.

So we built it.
